Ashton Woods again ranked first among builders in annual study
ROSWELL, GA – January 24, 2014 – For the second consecutive year, Ashton Woods Homes has been named the Most Trusted Builder in America, according to a newly released Lifestory Research study. The Lifestory Research Most Trusted Builders in America Study SM, also in its second year, evaluated the attitudes of more than 40,000 new-home shoppers and tracked 133 home builder brands in the top 27 U.S. housing markets.
“To be named the Most Trusted Builder two years in a row is a huge achievement and a testament to our ‘customer first’ philosophy,” said Ken Balogh, President and Chief Executive Officer at Ashton Woods Homes. “At Ashton Woods, trust is a badge of honor that we earn through a committed relationship with our customers. It begins the moment they walk into our sales centers and continues through every step of the process as we design personalized homes that are unique to every homebuyer.”
For the second year in a row, the Lifestory Research Most Trusted Builder in America Study SM found that three out of four customers believe trust is paramount in choosing a home builder and is a key factor when making the decision to purchase a new home. Through the Lifestory Research study, trust is measured by a Net Trust Quotient Score (NTQS). Ashton Woods Homes – the nation’s 20th largest builder and fifth largest private builder in the country based on closings - posted a NTQS of 113.2, the highest score of all builders ranked in the study.
“We recognize that trust is an essential element in creating successful and long-term customer relationships, and our customer-centered experience is built around this philosophy” said Balogh. “For instance, our ‘1-5-11’ customer warranty, through which an Ashton Woods Homes representative proactively contacts the homeowner at the first, fifth and 11th months in their new home to address any warranty concerns that may arise, is as an excellent example of how we never stop working to earn and maintain the trust of our customers.”
