The term “shelter-in-place” has now become part of our everyday vernacular, and for some sounds downright scary. But forcing ourselves to shelter-in-place has also brought us “back home” from the typical day-to-day grind and allowed us to focus our attention on what it means to truly be home. Suddenly we find ourselves valuing the time we have with family and realizing how important true sanctuary can be. Sheltering in place gives us time to get back to what’s important. And for some, to consider starting new.
We can all find light in this proverbial darkness, or perhaps some revelations on how we want to live our lives and the space in which we want to do so.
